After generations of peace and relative quiet, last summer your Warren suffered a terrible crisis, in the form of Cottontail's arrival. But despite some sad losses, the Warren survives: You managed to drive off or trap the rabbits from the other warren; Wintergreen's leadership was amply demonstrated; and you've all learned a remarkable new skill. Now, as long as you don't run into that fox again, and She doesn't notice you at the wrong time, you can return to the peaceful lives you're used to.

This game is a sequel to the one run at ACUS 2016. Returning players can keep their same characters, or create new ones as they prefer; in the latter case their previous rabbits will have died—why?

The Warren is a game by Marshall Miller that's about intelligent rabbits trying to make the best of it in a word filled with predators, hazards, and, worst of all, other rabbits. It is a game about survival and community. It is Apocalypse World crossed with Bunnies and Burrows.

Some role reversal, and a bit of an experiment. If you sign up for this game, you are not signing up to be a player; you’re signing up to be the GM. The players will be the five of us listed as co-GMs in the slot description. We’re a group of friends who love gaming together but rarely get the chance to do it. Come GM for us! We’re open to any style of game you want to run. Classic Amber? Yes. Superheroes? We’re in. High fantasy? Police procedural? Historical melodrama? Awesome, bring it on. Give us pregen characters, or ask us to write a novelette before the Con. We’ll even (gasp!) bring our dice if you tell us to. We're a great gateway group for someone with first-time GM jitters, or a veteran GM wanting to try something outside their typical zone.

Summer; hot nights of restless sleep and disquieting dreams and the days feels short and distant. Friend’s faces turn foreign and strangers pass by with glances that suggest that they should know you. Something is wrong, the answer is lingering in the hackles of your neck and you know you won’t be able to hide from the truth much longer.

This is the continuation of a campaign that ran at AmberConUS and AmberConNW in 2011. Players from either game is welcome to participate and new players are also welcome. Setting: Set in the milieu of H.P Love's call of Cthulhu, but diceless, not using any of the source material from an CoC game. Game is set in the modern day U.S.

What do players need to do to prepare for the game
Create characters before game. Don't worry about the system, or going into too much detail. Don't tell the GM until the game starts. If you'd like to discuss your character and the setting you'd like to see with the other players before the game, that's great. Please do not tell any of it to the GM until game time.

Bring whatever character you want. We'll figure out what's going on during the game. Maybe.

Setting?  You tell me. Could be Amber. Could be earth. Could be outer space. We'll figure it out.

Come play a demo (or two) of Fantasy Flight Games' new Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game, a tactical ship-to-ship combat game in which players take control of powerful Incom T-65 X-Wings and nimble Sienar TIE/LN starfighters, facing them against each other in fast-paced space combat. Featuring accurately scaled, highly detailed, pre-painted miniatures, X-Wing lets you recreate Star Wars’ exciting space battles and create your own! No knowledge/dice/miniatures necessary, just some interest in having a good time, and the ability to say "Pew-pew-pew," as you reduce your enemy to vapor.

So, if you are anything like me, by Friday evening in slot 4 you are thinking...god, that's a lot of gaming, and I need a break. Well, this is your chance, join me for a group excursion to "On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina" for Margaritas and chain Mexican Food! I will be driving, but would appreciate one other responsible party to drive as well. We will eat, drink and be merry for Friday evening together!

I usually run this game in an 8 hour slot at ACUK, but can work a scenario around most time slots, though I'd prefer at least 5 hours if possible.

I really do not want to run in an evening slot, I'm arriving from the UK the day before the Con and jet lag means I can't be sure I will be awake enough to GM in the evenings.

You always knew you were different, special in some manner, but you didn't know why until you were contacted by a mysterious stranger calling himself Ghost. He told you you were not alone, that there were others like you, and what's more there were also people hunting you! Several sessions of this game have run at AmberCon UK in previous years, but each game is self contained and no prior knowledge is required.

It is a dark time for the JEDI. Once they served as guardians of peace and justice throughout the galaxy, now they are all but extinct, ruthlessly hunted down by the evil GALACTIC EMPIRE. Scattered, wounded, and weak, a number of surviving JEDI have felt a great disturbance in the FORCE. Although the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, has enough power to destroy an entire planet, the JEDI sense that it has a far more sinister purpose.

Enigma Society: Revelations

Setting

It is set in a late 1890’s England, where both historical and fictitious people and events coexist.

Convention
2012
Character Instructions & Restrictions

Characters are historical or fictional personalities (examples: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle or Sherlock Holmes), which were alive around 1894 and would be initially willing to offer their services (their motives and actions may be suspect though). This is not intended to be a very historically accurate game; the truth can be stretched for dramatic effect, therefore almost any person is possible (with a few exceptions). The characters involved will primarily determine the tone and flavor of the game. Please contact GM prior to convention.

It is Christmastime…and London, if not the World is at Peace…how fragile it all is…how short lived…Time enough…to see an eternity in the blink of an eye…a man with only answers, to questions yet unasked…Stolen secrets, not yet conceived, shall consume the future in the fires of Hell…and those unlucky few who would survive, will know a Winter with no end…Who will stand up against such malevolence…Will a silver tongue succeed, when all the gold in Heaven has failed?
